Halloween on Arenas between Indian Canyon and Calle Encillia was an event for the LGBTQ+ community. The Palm Springs Pride organization was collecting donations at the entrances. There were two stages with live music, a pop-up bar, and a heavy police presence. I noted one seemingly small medical issue being tended to by the Palm Springs Paramedics and Palm Springs Police Department, I did not include pictures of this.

The Mongols Motorcycle Club has returned to Palm Springs for their annual meeting. The police presence was higher than normal with police officers observed from Palm Springs Police Department, Cathedral City Police Department, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, and the California Highway Patrol. There was police activity at the corner of Arenas and Calle Encilia and a circling police helicopter.

In the meantime, the Arenas District was packed with people at the various establishments, marking a strong start to the tourist season.

Finally, just a few shots of our beloved mountains and downtown.

Every Thursday evening Palm Springs hosts a “Village Festival” on N. Palm Canyon Drive. Starting in October their hours are 6p – 10p.
